Local projects
East London Food Bank
East London areas covered: Forest Gate, Manor Park, East Ham, Plaistow, and Stratford. FoodBanked supports poor families that are struggling with the cost of living and serve up to 100 people in need.
Essex Food Bank
Also covering Essex, we deliver to Redbridge, Barking, Romford, and Dagenham. FoodBanked supports poor families that are struggling with the cost of living and serve up to 150 people in need.
Ryedale Homeless Shelter
We also support the Ryedale homeless shelter in Ilford which houses homeless people. On a monthly basis FoodBanked delivers essential food items serving up to 50 people in need

Our Bangladesh
FoodBanked campaign
FoodBanked trialled food bank provision in Bangladesh which was a success! FoodBanked handed out food packs to poor and disabled families in Bangladesh.
Our food packs served 160 individuals from poor families.
London/Essex Local

Our monthly food bank now covers Redbridge, Newham, Barking and Romford.
FoodBanked supported 80 families, serving a total of 300 people in need.
Last 10 days of Ramadan food bank
FoodBanked delivered food (Iftar) to families that were fasting during the last 10 days of Ramadan –
this was a new initiative which was a success.
Our Iftar food packs supported 23 families and served a total of 100 individuals.
Zakat Food bank

FoodBanked collected zakat donations during the month of Ramadan.
Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is a religious duty for all Muslims who meet the necessary criteria of wealth to help the needy.
FoodBanked’s zakat food packs served 600 poor and disabled people from the poorest villages of Bangladesh.
Deadly airstrikes have killed and displaced hundreds in Lebanon.
Israel's bombing of the country on 23
September 2024 has caused by far the deadliest day in Lebanon since the crisis began almost a year ago.
According to the latest reports, over 1,873 people have been killed and over 9,100 injured, including children and many other civilians.
£100 can feed 2 families for a month.
Local secondary school in Redbridge donated long life food products to FoodBanked.. This was a fund raising project organised by Year 12 students from Beal High School. FoodBanked are grateful for all the hard work and efforts the students went through to raise the donations. Big thank you to Beal High School.
Gaza Emergency
In collaboration with Save an Orphan charity, we’re providing food packs. In times of crisis, access to nutritious food is crucial for families facing hardship. The Food Packs are carefully curated to include nutritious and healthy snacks. Each pack is thoughtfully assembled to ensure a balanced and diverse selection of food items, catering to the dietary needs of families in Palestine.
